Locals have enjoyed the sweet treat of Maple Syrup every spring for thousands of years. Join us in the sugarbush as we learn how to make the sweetest treat in the Northwoods. We'll take you through the sugaring process to create your own maple syrup. From identifying and tapping trees to collecting and boiling sap, you'll leave knowing how to make your own sweet treat each spring! Trees for Tomorrow naturalist, Todd Starling, will lead our class as we learn about the history and science of maple syrup.Price: $55 per person (1 kit)

What to Expect:
-All instruction at TFT (indoors and on TFT's campus).
-Majority of time spent outdoors, tapping trees, collecting, and boiling sap.
-Walking over level terrain in late-season snow.
-Restrooms available throughout duration of program.
What's included:
-Expert-led instruction including: how to tap trees, how to properly boil sap, and how to safely bottle finished syrup.
-Sap collection kits included in program price.
