MAO Art if Virus #7 Bacsó Kristóf feat. David Dorůžka----- scroll down for EN ------
A MAO a 2021/22-es évadban kiemelt hangsúlyt fektet a 2020-ban online elindított zeneszerző kezdeményezés művészeire és kapcsolódásaira. Az évad elején elindult, tíz részesre tervezett koncertsorozat a kilenc hangból álló vírustörzs kompozícióit mutatja be minden alkalommal egy meghívott AOV-zeneszerzőt is bevonva a repertoárba.
Az Art of Virus projekt élő koncertjeivel a zenekar a különleges, új kompozíciók és a nagyzenekari zenei élmény mellett beengedi közönségét az alkotói önreflexió terébe is.
A sorozat következő koncertjén a Bacsó Kristóf által elindított ág darabjait hallgathatja meg a közönség és David Dorůžka, a nemzetközi hírű gitáros, zeneszerző lesz a MAO vendége.
BACSÓ KRISTÓF:
Bacsó Kristóf a Modern Art Orchestra szaxofonistája, a zenekar kreatív műhelyének amerikai jazz oktatásban tanult művésze, a Zeneakadémia jazz tanszakának vezetője, aki hangszeres játéka mellett kompozícióival és hangszereléseivel is alakítja a MAO hangzásvilágát. A nemzetközi színtéren is elismert muzsikus az AOV #7 ágának beindítója, Fekete-Kovács Kornél nominálása nyomán.
DAVID DORŮŽKA:
David Dorůžka a cseh jazzkultúra egyik kiemelkedő muzsikusa, aki - amellett, hogy 14 éves kora óta professzionális zenészként működik - instrumentális és zeneszerzői tanulmányait világszínvonalú muzsikuslegendák mentorálása mellett végezte. A kivételes tehetségű zenész a mainstream jazz valamennyi irányzatának kíséretében a szefárd muzsika és egyéb, keleti eredetű tradicionális zenék színeit is erőszeretettel alkalmazza palettáján. Az AOV #7 ágában való közreműködésre Bacsó Kristóf kérte fel.
Az Art of Virus-ról:
Hogyan kapcsolódik a zenekar a közönségéhez, ha nincsenek koncertek?
Hogyan alkot, gyakorol egy zenész, hogyan jut kifejezési lehetőséghez, hogyan kapcsolódik az alkotótársaihoz, milyen új utakat és lehetőségeket lát, és milyen kompozíciókat hoz létre egy alapvető életfeltételeket veszélyeztető, redukált létezésben?
A Modern Art Orchestra Art of Virus zenei projektje az a fajta reakció a vírussal beköszöntött globális egzisztenciális válságra, amely pozitív reflexiót ad zenei, művészetelméleti és előadóművészeti értelemben egyaránt a kultúra újraértelmezésének sürgetővé vált kérdéseire a muzsika világában.
A nemzetközi alkotói együttműködésen alapuló projekt művészeti célkitűzése, hogy a vírus terjedését és viselkedését szimbolizálja folyamatosan bővülő (mutálódó) kompozíciók formájában.

MAO gives highlighted attention to the AOV-artists and their connections in the 2021/22-season. The ten concerts of the season will introduce the compositions of the ten branches of the project with an invited AOV-composer guest each time.
The Art of Virus project goes live and MAO will play the fantastic new compositions orchestrated for big band and also involves the audience to the self-reflective space of the AOV-project.
The concert in December is dedicated to the AOV-branch number 7, that was started by Kristóf Bacsó, the orchestra’s acknowledged saxophonist and composer and the young, talented guitar player David Dorůžka will be the special guest of the show. He will bring his own compositions and MAO will play the pieces with the grand orchestra as a part of the program.
About the Art of Virus:
How do the musicians connect with their audience if there are no concerts? How do they stay creative, practice, how do they find ways of expression, how do they connect with their artistic partners? What kind of new ways and opportunities do they see? What kind of new compositions do musicians create in a reduced being filled with life threatening circumstances.
The Art of Virus project of Modern Art Orchestra is a positive reaction to the global existential crisis that arrived with the pandemic. It gives answers to the urgent questions about re-defining culture in the form of positive reflection about music, art-theory and performing art from the perspective of music.
The artistic aim of the AOV-project based on international cooperation of composers is to symbolise the spreading and the behaviour of the virus in the form of a constantly widening (mutating) range of compositions.
