Join our hike leader Susie for an early morning walk at Pallarenda.
This walk takes in some of the more scenic locations of Cape Pallarenda Conservation Park.
Starting off at the gates to the lagoons of the Town Common we will head off for a casual walk across the Many Peaks Range to the summit of Mount Marlow. At the summit we will stop for a few photos and a snack, before descending to the wetlands below, returning along Freshwater Lagoon.
The walk is on trail. Some sections are steep, uneven, and rocky underfoot with approximately 260m elevation.
Beautiful 360 degree views offer spectacular views of our beautiful city, Castle Hill, mountain ranges and over the Town Common Wetlands and along the coastline. Don’t forget your phone or camera.
We will likely encounter birdlife along the edges of the town common lagoons.
NOTE: please be aware of Mountain Bike riders who also use part of these trails.
