The Manual Handling Basic course is a half day course which is held publicly in the NISO Training Centre and also in-house by arrangement.Please note: this is not suitable for people handling.
Staff engaged in manual handling tasks are required to receive training in assessment of loads and how to lift and handle loads safely.
There is a wide variety of manual handling tasks: our content may not cover all situations.
Our open course includes both instruction and practical training.
