Manu Wairere is a school holiday programme at the Māoriland Hub in Ōtaki, designed to ignite the creative potential of tamariki and rangatahi Māori aged 5–18. As part of this programme, local artist Raukawa Kiri will lead a 2-day arts workshop exploring the world of atua through Toi Māori. Participants will create artworks inspired by whakapapa, mana motuhake, and Te Ao Māori perspectives.
Dates: Tue 30 Sept – Wed 1 Oct
Times:
Pīpī Paopao (5–11 years) → 9:30am – 12:30pm
Pīrere (12–18 years) → 1:00pm – 4:00pm
Venue: Māoriland Hub, Ōtaki
Cost: $10 entry fee
Note: Spaces are limited. Attendance both days is required.
