About this Event
The exhibit grew out of an early exchange with Richard Avedon on the fundamentals of portraiture. Produced in the early 2000s with a 120mm Hasselblad on Tri-X 400 film, the series prioritises detail, tonal depth, and scale. The Carl Zeiss lens imparts clarity and precision, translating light, texture, and time with fidelity. As an installation, the work considers portraiture as a deliberate act of looking and an engagement with memory and human continuity.
