Macomb County Animal Control is hosting a "Man's Best Friend" adoption event and this SATURDAY, we will be open to celebrate ?National Dog Dad's Day!?
The event takes place from 10am-3pm, featuring SPONSORED FEES (*free*) for many of our homeless shelter pets!
⚠ Our shelter is FULL with more animals entering the building than exiting!

⚫Our homeless shelter dogs undergo thorough behavioral assessments to ensure that we are only adopting out good canine citizens.
⚫All our adoptable pets are spayed/neutered, provided with appropriate vaccinations, tested for heartworm or FeLV/FIV, provided with prevention and microchipped!
⚫The majority of our dogs are bully breeds and these mixes make up a wide population of our homeless pets. But don't believe all the hype! Pit Bull mixes are just as loving and sweet as any other breed! It's just a label so don't judge a book by its cover!
We want to make the perfect match for your family, therefore we request that ALL family members in home, including children and dog(s) be present at the time of adoption. Please keep your dog(s) RESTRAINED/CONFINED outside of the adoption area until you are ready to meet the dog you are interested in, at which time a staff member will assist with proper introduction.
All of the animals available for adoption are spayed/neutered, current on age/species appropriate vaccines, provided with prevention and microchipped. Dog license fees are NOT included in the adoption fee but are required for all Macomb County residents.
