The Manly Harbour Christmas Lights Competition is officially launching on Saturday 30 November in Little Bayside Park from 4.30pm until 9.00pm.Gather the whole family and enjoy this much anticipated festive tradition! Bring along your picnic rug or chairs and then relax for an afternoon of free entertainment. Order some delicious takeaway from the food trucks available at the park or visit one of the many food outlets in Manly Harbour Village.
To officially kick off the festivities, there will be a children’s Christmas Parade starting at the Wynnum Manly Yacht Club, walking along the Esplanade and finishing at the stage in Little Bayside Park. We invite all children and parents to participate, get into the Christmas Spirit and dress up in your favourite festive outfit for a chance to win prizes!
Santa will arrive in style by Cadillac and be available for free photo opportunities, don’t forget there will be prizes for best dressed boy, girl and family. The afternoon will continue with live music and Christmas Carols, finishing with a special screening of “The Santa Clause” on the big screen.
CHRISTMAS LAUNCH PROGRAM:

5.00pm Live music all afternoon including Christmas carols

7pm & 8pm Manly Harbour Cruises – jump aboard and see the harbour boats light up
Visitors and locals alike are in for a treat during December, as the boats in Manly Harbour and the surrounding homes and businesses light up with Christmas lights and decorations to create a land and over-water spectacular.
You can marvel at the boating Christmas lights display and enjoy the twinkling lights with a unique 45 minute night cruise around Manly Harbour with refreshments available on board. Children under 12 are free and tickets include a $15 voucher redeemable at participating Manly Harbour Village stores. The Harbour Cruise will depart from the William Gunn Jetty and bookings can be made for either the 7pm or 8pm cruise.
Remember, the Manly Harbour Christmas Lights Competition is open to all houses and businesses within the 4179 postcode, and every boat in Manly Harbour.
