Peaceful Community March for Dignity & SafetyWe are gathering for a peaceful, community-led march to stand for dignity, safety, and humane treatment of our neighbors.
Recent events have left many in our community feeling afraid, targeted, or unseen. This march is about visibility, solidarity, and care — showing up together to say that everyone deserves to live without fear.
What this is:
• A peaceful, nonviolent march
• Centered on community safety, human dignity, and solidarity
• Grounded in care, not confrontation
What this is not:
• Not a riot
• Not a place for harassment or intimidation
• Not a space for violence or dehumanization of any kind
What to Expect
• A clearly defined route
• Community organizers and safety volunteers present
• A calm, intentional pace
• Space for people to participate at their own capacity
Accessibility & Safety
We are doing our best to make this gathering as accessible and safe as possible. You are welcome to:
• Walk part of the route or remain stationary
• Attend quietly — signs and chanting are optional
• Bring water, weather-appropriate clothing, and any mobility or medical supports you need
Please follow instructions from organizers and safety volunteers. If at any point you feel unsafe, prioritize your well-being.
Community Expectations
This is a space rooted in respect. By attending, you agree to:
• Remain peaceful and nonviolent
• Respect fellow participants and the surrounding community
• Avoid engaging with counter-protesters
• Follow guidance from organizers and safety leads
Why This Matters
Showing up peacefully and visibly is one way communities protect one another. This march is about care over fear, responsibility over harm, and reminding one another that we are not alone.
If you cannot attend, there will be other ways to support — sharing information, checking on neighbors, and engaging in mutual aid all matter.
Thank you for approaching this with care and intention.
We look forward to standing together.
