Join Friends of Inwood Hill Park for a cleanup, native vegetation planting and invasives species removal project at Inwood Canoe Club from 11 AM to 1:30 PM for the 13th Annual Riverkeeper Sweep. This is a rain or shine event.
Volunteers will meet at Inwood Canoe Club, 360 Dyckman St, New York, NY 10034. Street parking available, but arrive early as it can be competitve.
We recommend that all Sweep volunteers bring a hat, sunscreen, a full reusable water bottle, insect repellent, work gloves and hand sanitizer. We will have work gloves, non-latex gloves, grabbers and sanitizer, but feel free to bring your own!
This site is suitable for elementary-aged children with adult supervision.
