"If there are no mangrove forests, then the sea will have no meaning. It is like having a tree with no roots, for the mangroves are the roots of the sea."— fisherman, Trang Province, southern Thailand
Join us to restore the mangrove habitat at Bang Pu Recreation Centre.
We will be taking on the tasks of litter picking and mangrove planting to help protect our coastline, for mangrove trees not only stabilise the land but also dissipate wave energy. After our hard work and a tasty sea view lunch we can enjoy the boardwalks and birdwatching tower.
