The Davidson College Traditional Series is thrilled to present a weekend-long mandolin symposium. Headlined by Mike Compton, the mandolin professor at the renowned Old-Time/Bluegrass School at East Tennessee, and joined by two regional and four local artists, we will have a mandolin extravaganza, with two concerts – a Friday concert with Mike Compton and Davidson favorite Laura Boosinger, and a Saturday “Mandomania” concert. Saturday afternoon will feature workshops and master classes.For tickets, please contact the Union Box Office at 704-894-2135. Free for Davidson students, but tickets are required.
