Hy is ’n bekroonde trompetspeler en sanger, en bekoor die jazzwêreld met sy diep emosionele klanke en lirieke. In 2018 het hy met Somandla gedebuteer, en sy Sama-wenneralbum, Cwaka, is al meer as 5 miljoen keer gestroom. Hy is een van die land se voorste jazzmusikante en was by twee geleenthede die enigste van sy landgenote wat by die legendariese Amerikaanse jazzmusikant Herbie Hancock se International Jazz Day Globalkonsert opgetree het. Op die program is liedjies van sy eerste twee albums en ’n paar verrassings van sy nuwe album, Intlambululo, wat in Oktober2025 uitgereik word.
