About this Event
Mandala Reflections - Bridgeland Community Art Project
Join us for a creative and inspiring project in Bridgeland funded by CADA's Project Grant! This community art installation will embody the spirit of the vibrant and dynamic neighbourhood of Bridgeland - aiming to engage and inspire all those who live, work, and play in Bridgeland to explore their creativity, connect with each other, and celebrate community through the creation and display of mandalas.
No artistic ability is required to discover the therapeutic benefits of mandala creation! Everyone is welcome to participate and have their mandala displayed as a part of this installation. Each mandala a reflection of the unique inner journey of its creator, the project as a whole reflects the diversity and vibrancy of the Bridgeland community.
What to expect:
Each session will begin with a short, relaxing guided meditation. Participants will create unique mandalas on 6x6 birch panels, using acrylic paint markers, with the artistic instruction and guidance of Bridgeland resident and social entrepreneur, Valerie Chin.
Feel free to bring a friend or come alone – this event is all about fostering a sense of community and artistic expression. All guests MUST be pre-registered.
Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to be a part of a one-of-a-kind community art installation!
