$Mandala Mosaics for the New Year! \u2013 January 3$

Let’s start a New Year making your own mandala! We will start with a mandala brainstorming for the new year. A mandala is an art to symbolize the universe. You will be introduced to the basic skills of mosaic making, then make your own original 4-inch round mandala mosaic with glass and tiles. Your new year resolution or dream can be your inspiration to create your mini universe. Enjoy the colorful materials and challenge yourself to use wheeled nippers to break glass and tiles into different shapes. Nipping the glass and placing them in circles is a meditative activity. Let’s have fun and relax together!
Please note a materials fee of $20 is due to the instructor at the time of the class.
This class is appropriate for students aged 16 and up.
