Our favorite plant shop is hosting an slow paced (ink and wash) watercolor workshop on Saturday, November 8th, at 2:00 PM. Perfect for total beginner watercolor enthusiasts!
Only eight spots available! This class explores the beauty of the natural mandalas - dahlia flowers! Participants will learn to paint large sized dahlias in mandala shape, while exploring watercolor techniques. The class focuses on relaxation, self expression, color mixing and drawing symmetricaly.
Mandalas have been used in spiritual and personal healing practices for centuries. They are said to be calming and can help to clear mental clutter, allowing you to focus on the present moment and be more mindful. This can help in reducing stress, relieving anxiety and improving concentration.

About the intructor: Angelica Boleta is a self-taught artist known for her delicate, nature-inspired watercolor paintings. Her work captures the vibrant colors and elegance of flora and fauna, reflecting a heartfelt connection to the natural world.
Blending traditional techniques with a modern touch, Angélica creates pieces that evoke both emotion and tranquility. Beyond painting, she shares her passion for watercolor through workshops, guiding others in discovering the meditative flow of the medium. Whether through custom commissions or in-person and online classes, her goal is to help others embrace creativity, let go of control, and find peace in the fluidity of watercolors.
