Manchester Underground Music and art welcomes to River Raisin Distillery Jon Torrence!Jon Torrence is a Michigan-based musician and songwriter whose eclectic style is reflected in his diverse musical output. He is the creative force behind the Native Heart, whose soul-tinged brand of Pop, Folk, and Americana help to tell stories of life that are relatable as well as poetic. The music boasts melodic hooks, rhythmic vibes, and intentional narratives, and at the core of the songs is a love of creation and storytelling.
A master of the looper, Jon layers multiple instruments and beats to weave truly inspired music – both his original compositions and classic songs, some of which are surprisingly deep cuts from a wide variety of genres.
