Manchester's Silent Book Club is back in action woo! Join us at Chapter One Books for reading with coffee, company and all around book appreciation. Print, audio, electronic, scroll - Whatever you're reading, this is a space to get through some pages.Yenni with a red cap and book will be present on Sunday at 11am regardless of facebook confirmations. Silent reading hour is 1130-1230. Chats if you want, 'em before and after. No required reading just bring whatever you want, get a drink, eat a cake and move around as needed. Open to all. Chapter One Books quietly bustles with people on laptops and fits a small reading group on sofas just fine. Wheelchair accessible.
COVID INFO: QR code check in with NHS app at the door and masks on as you enter or move around. Drinks and cakes ordered with a QR code and they are magically brought right to us. Masks can be off when sat but are to be on face if moving around, going to the loo, etc. We've been using sofas which are comfy and café users are spaced out well.
