Manchester bee pewter keyring workshop using cuttlefish casting

Celebrate Manchester by creating your own pewter worker bee keyring using the traditional skill of cuttlefish casting.
Through the workshop Ella will guide you through the process of carving your design from the unusual material cuttlefish bone before we pour the molten pewter (lead free metal) to reveal your design.
We will then finish your cast using traditional jewellery tools and techniques before polishing so you can proudly take your final piece home. A fascinating technique with beautiful results.
Suitable for beginners or those with previous silver or jewellery experience. FAQs
