Industry Workshop - Managing Food Loss and Waste
One-third of all food produced globally by weight is lost or wasted between the farm and the table. To address this critical issue the Northwestern University Transportation Center is bringing together subject matter experts to address the challenge and benefits of reducing and recovering food waste throughout food distribution systems. Our Managing Food Loss and Waste Workshop will include representatives from CJ Logistics, The Global Food Banking Network, Illes Foods, and Meijer, Inc.
