About this Event
Safety Fitz is hosting an engaging event focused on enhancing the safety leadership skills of managers and supervisors. Participants will learn the most common safety and health standard requirements of OSHA. They will discover the components of effective safety management processes, programs, and systems! Supervisors will learn to be effective safety leaders and engage their employees. A major benefit of the class will be networking with other supervisors and sharing best practices. While dong all of this, participants will earn an OSHA 10-Hour Card for General Industry.
This course consists of at least 10 hours of instruction over two days, March 11 & March 13, 2024. Safety Fitz will host the event at The Chamber of Manitowoc County on Maritime Drive, in Manitowoc, WI.
Tom "Fitz" Fitzgerald MS PHR is leading this course and is a very experienced Human Resources, Trainer, Safety & Health, and Manufacturing professional. Fitz started his career as an effective accomplished manufacturing (foundry) supervisor. Participants will learn effective supervisory safety skills from someone that has been there and done that.
