Course content:
-Safety and risk management
-DRSABCD action plans and responding in unfamiliar environments
-CPR if we are alone or with minimal staff (how to call for help for a team environments etc)
-Managing unconscious patients / fainting
-Using a defibrilator
-Legal issues with first aid
-Hypoglycaemia / Seizures / Asthmatic attacks
-Allergic reactions and anaphylaxis
-Choking
-Heart attacks and stroke
-Airway management including oxygen therapy
