Man Met Hacks - 24 Hour Hackathon

But, you might be asking, what is a hackathon?

MMU Hack is a 24 hour event starting midday on the 25th of June and finishing midday on the 26th of June, where participants will be able to choose from a number of challenges and work in teams to develop fun and creative solutions to tackle them. Taking place in MMU business school, there will be workshops throughout the day from industry speakers, dedicated areas for attendees to sleep over if they wish (not mandatory), and food and drink provided throughout.

With numerous local and national hackathons throughout the country happening each year, that offer fantastic opportunities for networking, skills development and CV boosting, MMU Hack 2022 will be a great opportunity to see what these events are about, build your confidence to springboard onto other events in the near future, and most importantly, to have some fun with your peers!

Whether you use AI to dominate the competition, utilise stunning design and animation to wow the judges, focus on tried and tested solutions and develop them to the best of your capability, or think outside the box and make something off the wall and wacky, that's up to you; most importantly, the organisers of MMU Hack 2022 would like to express that the event is open to any and all members of MMU regardless of what they believe their capability to be, so please, sign up today, get involved and we cant wait to see you there!
