Mambo de Mullum no 3 is back for a Late afternoon session of
Live Music and Salsa at the Mullum Ex Services club band room.
Kwasi bruni 10 Piece Afro jazz Big Band
and DJ Mex'shika. will be playing some high energy salsa, son cubano and mambo jazz paying homage to the music of the great Latino bandleaders of the 60s and 70s

Barry met Camilo at a BBQ jam session in 2021 and had an instant musical connection. Both had Colombian family connections and had grown up listening to salsa and Afro-Cuban music. Both were keen to put a band together.
Fast forward three years, and Kwasi Bruni is now a 10 (sometimes 12!) piece big band featuring some of the north coast’s finest percussionists and wind players.

Hailing from Mexico City with over 20 years as a a vocalist and Dj, Yolanda Santiago, aka DJ Mex’shika, is the vibrant host of "Radio Latina" on Byron Bay FM 99.9. Dj Mex’shika will be playing a diverse set of music from Spain and Latin America….. connecting her listeners to the rhythm and pulse of la musica latina.
