About this Event
As we head into the upcoming election, Jersey City moms deserve the chance to connect with the women who are stepping up to lead—and who happen to be moms. Mamas in the Running is an intimate, nonpartisan event that spotlights all the mom candidates running for City Council across various slates, including both ward and at-large seats.
This event offers a rare opportunity for our community to speak directly with the candidates, mom-to-mom, and have real conversations about the future of Jersey City.
This is not a debate—it’s a space for connection, understanding, and civic engagement.
What to Expect:
Candidate Introductions: Each candidate will have 3–5 minutes to share who they are, why they’re running, and what matters most to them.
Meet & Greet Conversations: After introductions, each candidate will be stationed at their own table so attendees can circulate, ask questions, and engage in one-on-one or small group discussions.
