Pregnancy, birth and mothering changes us. Our brains, bodies, hearts, lives and dreams are different. Some of those changes are temporary and others permanent. Some of us sail through the changes while others feel as if they are drowning. We may love the changes, hate the changes or hate some while loving others. Let's look at ALL of it together.
For 9 months we prepare for the birth of our babies. We take classes. We buy stuff. We create a nest. We write birth plans and we dream. One day we have a baby and all of a sudden our lives are changed forever.
This FREE group is dedicated to supporting mothers and motherhood. It is not about infant feeding; although nourishing our babies in many ways may be discussed. It is not about how you gave birth, although this may impact how you are feeling about yourself. It is not about child development; although knowing where your toddler is now and where they are heading helps us orient ourselves as mothers. It is not about little ones, although your child IS why you are now a mother. It is about mothers and motherhood. Let’s take just a little time out from your world of constantly focusing on your wee ones to talk about you.
Bring all your questions, concerns and things you want to learn about because the more confident you become in understanding your children the more gracefully you will flow through parenting.
I will bring my heart to listen, my expertise in facilitating groups, books from my extensive library, and my experience with birth, infant feeding, parenting, the human brain, and child development.
