About this Event

Mama Circle

A soulful connection space for mothers at any age or stage of motherhood.

Why should we gather?

Becoming a mother is an initiation unlike any other psychological, spiritual, emotional or physical feat in the human lifetime.
This experience, for those that choose it, is unlike anything else.
Motherhood invites you into a renewal of who you knew yourself to be.
With the world as it is, it's crucial mamas have space to FEEL the new them, to connect with others, nourish themselves away from commitments and family life, share stories and have the opportunity to honour their journey.

About the circle

This is a small group, gentle and nourishing space. Some of the areas we may explore include:

Self connection through guided practices eg meditation, self touch and breathwork
Gentle embodiment practices to connect with and nourish the female body
Journalling and creative expression eg crafting
Honouring of the journey of motherhood - exploring themes of cyclical living and 'feminine rites of passage'
Space to connect with yourself away from responsibilities and your to do list
The importance of sisterhood and female connection and support ('it takes a village')
Navigating changes and times of transition with compassion, self-care and grace
Tools and resources for self nourishment

This event is open to all mothers - including step mothers, non biological mothers, grandmothers, women who have experienced miscarriage or termination and mamas with young babies (who are welcome to come along).

About the facilitator - Olivia Jensen

Olivia is a free spirit with a love for home and hearth. She is dedicated to a more beautiful world and is passionate about soulful living. Olivia has a real passion for feminine embodiment and the initiation of motherhood.

She is a 300 hour trained yoga teacher, a mentor, somatic practitioner and guide for transformation. She has been working with women for 4 years through hands-on sexual wellness work and is a mentor and guide for a body of work called Magdalena (a week long journey into the feminine mysteries).

Olivia is based in Cornwall and re-meeting herself, family and these lands after 7 years abroad. She is a dog mama to her beloved rescue dog.
