Malvern Hills Hike
Join us for a scenic hike on the beautiful Malvern Hills! Meet us at British Camp Car Park for a day filled with fresh air, stunning views, and good company. This in-person event is the perfect opportunity to stretch your legs, connect with nature, and maybe even spot some wildlife. Don't miss out on this chance to enjoy the great outdoors and make some new friends along the way! And its only £10!
The route- 10km circular hike across the tops of the hills taking in Black Hill, Pinnacle Hill, Jubilee Hill, Perseverance Hill, Summer Hill and The Worcestershire Beacon!
Route: British Camp → Worcestershire Beacon → Circular return
Distance: ~10 km
Grade: Easy–Moderate (perfect for beginners)
Date & Time: 10:00 am – 4:00 pm

Itinerary
10:00 am – Meet at British Camp Car Park
- Welcome & introductions
- Safety briefing with your Qualified Mountain Leader
- Check kit, stretch legs, and get ready to start
10:15 am – Start Hike
- Begin the steady climb from British Camp, enjoying the sweeping views
- Learn about the history of the Iron Age hillfort as we pass
11:30 am – Ridge Walk
- Follow the rolling ridgeline of the Malvern Hills, with plenty of photo stops
- Spot landmarks across Worcestershire, Herefordshire, and even Wales on a clear day
12:30 pm – Summit the Worcestershire Beacon (425m)
- The highest point of the Malvern Hills!
- Celebrate with a group photo and take in the 360° views
1:00 pm – Picnic Lunch (packed lunch & water to be brought by participants)
- Relax, refuel, and enjoy a mindful moment in nature
1:45 pm – Begin Descent
- Return via a scenic circular route, taking in more of the rolling hills and valleys
- Keep an eye out for wildlife and enjoy the variety of landscapes
3:30 pm – Return to British Camp
- Gentle descent back to the start point
- Time to stretch and reflect on the day
4:00 pm – Finish
- Group wrap-up and hand out your “I’ve Hiked the Malvern Hills” sticker!
🎒 Suggested Kit List
- Sturdy walking shoes/boots
- Comfortable clothing (layers recommended)
- Waterproof jacket (just in case!)
- Hat, gloves & sun protection (weather dependent)
- Packed lunch & at least 1L water
- Small backpack to carry your kit
- Personal Medic*tion (if required)
