The return of MCS’ annual Mince Pie reliability & social ride will be on Sunday 1st December, starting and finishing at Welland Village Hall. The ride will be self-supported just like a normal club ride, but open to anyone from MCS or other clubs. Route:
There will be 2 road route options (links below) - 45 miles and 32 miles plus a group MTB ride. The routes won't be signposted so please ensure that you are familiar with the roads and route in advance:

HQ and start times:
Sign-on at Welland Village Hall will be open from 9.30am.
Riders on the 45 mile road route and MTB ride will set off from 10am; riders on the 32 mile route will set off from 10.15am.
PLEASE NOTE: there will be a maximum of 15 riders per group setting off at 3 minute intervals.
Entry cost:
Entry is FREE for any current MCS member who brings cake (preferably festive themed - mince pies, Christmas cake and yule logs are all encouraged!) to share with others; £3 if you are an MCS member who arrives without cake, or £5 for non-MCS members. Please bring correct change for your entry fee.
Tea, coffee, squash and festive cakes will all be available after the ride in the village hall.
WEATHER:
If the forecast looks like it will be icy on Saturday 30th November night, we will make a call on Friday 29th November evening as to whether the ride goes ahead - an update will be posted here
