This hands-on painting workshop invites children (ages 8-12) to explore their imaginations and express their vision of a greener, more balanced world. Through brainstorming, sketching, and painting, participants will reimagine a future where humans, animals, and nature thrive together. Ġulja Holland (b. 1990) is a Maltese figurative painter whose surrealist style explores narratives relating to the Anthropocene. Her work ranges from small-scale drawings and monotypes to vibrant large-scale paintings. Since completing her MA in Painting at the Royal College of Art (2021), she has been shortlisted for the London Paint Club Best of 2021. Recent exhibitions include ‘London Grads Now’ at Saatchi Gallery (2021), the PADA Studios residency exhibition in Barreiro (2022), ‘WOP 5’ at Blue Shop Cottage (2023), EXH10 at Floorr Magazine (2023), ‘A New Gothic’ at Spazju Kreattiv (2023), and ‘Possible Worlds’ at Spazju Kreattiv (2023).
