For our August event, we’ll be sketching in and around the Mall Gardens/The Mall in Clifton.
Mill Gardens. The gardens are open to the public (and free!)(check out the adjacent signage for the several access points).
There is an absolute WEALTH of things to draw/paint, including: the Gardens themselves (and views through to the surrounding properties); beautiful buildings along The Mall (and Clifton village in general); numerous attractive shopfronts; and, of course, easy access to Clifton Suspension Bridge etc etc.
Note: plenty of cafés etc in the event of rain!
MEETING POINT: The corner of The Mall/West Mall (immediately adjacent Mall Gardens) at 11am prompt. We’ll sketch until 12.45pm and then, afterwards, make our way to The Mall pub (66 The Mall, Clifton BS8 4JG) to share our sketches… it might get a little crowded(?), but hey!
