Take a Walking Tour of Little Egypt with Malikah!
Come join us for a journey through the hidden community of Astoria, Queens. Discover Little Eygpt with our tour guide, Rana Abdelhamid, a lifelong local who will lead you through hidden gems and sharing stories and insights along the way. Grab your walking shoes and get ready to experience the magic of Little Egypt with Malikah! Each attendee will recieve yummy tradtional sweets along with a Little Egypt zine made in collaboration with MOMA PS1.
This event serves as a fundraiser for MALIKAH, a Queens based anti-violence organization. MALIKAH equips women and girls in our communities with healing, self-defense, organizing, and financial literacy.
Every dollar raised will go towrads supporting surviors and advocate against gender and hate based violence. Donate here.
