Learn about the lives of three well-known male artists who painted Mount Monadnock at the turn-of-the-20th century. On Wednesday, August 21st at 6:30 pm, the Historical Society will host a panel discussion. Artist April Claggett will discuss the life and work of Abbott Handerson Thayer. Art enthusiast Lance Tucker will share Albert Quigley’s story of music and art in the Monadnock region. Historical Society of Cheshire County’s executive director Alan Rumrill will present a brief talk on William Preston Phelps.

This will be a hybrid program at the Historical Society of Cheshire County.
