Their book was not written to defend “traditional” values or to lay out a set of superficial behaviors for “godly men and women.” Instead, they cover the Scriptural framework for masculinity and femininity so you may have a better understanding of your personal responses to issues of gender, sexual orientation, and your God-given role as a man or woman.
Rev. Petzold presently serves as pastor at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Antioch, Illinois. Christa, who holds a Masters in Theology, homeschools their children while also pursuing a Ph.D. in the History of Exegesis from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis.
