Hot off the heels of their latest release, “Flamenco Metal”, Malcura are very excited to be making their debut Darwin performance at Bustard Town on Saturday May 6th, 2023.Known for their genre-busting approach to the classical guitar, Malcura will be bringing their Heavy Flamenco A-game to Darwin for a double-set fiesta. Mixing a modern blend of Flamenco techniques with rock, funk and metal influences, Malcura will be performing music from “Flamenco Metal”, alongside a selection of tracks from their growing back catalogue and unique cover versions of classic rock numbers, with a few special top end surprises!
Grab your dancing partners (and tie those dancing shoes) and get ready for a night of infectious rhythms, drink specials and maybe even a conga line!
Malcura’s latest EP features current Malcura members Colin Andrews (Bass) and Simon Wood (Drums) in addition to original members Josh Voce (Lead Guitar) and Steven Angell (Rhythm Guitar). The NT Tour will see the trio of Josh, Simon and Colin bringing the EP to the stage.
The new recording also feature’s the two previously released singles, “Paint It Black” (Rolling Stones) and “James Bond 007 Theme”.
