Malcolm Templeton Memorial Trophy Race Kirkistown BOSS cars race once again at the end of August for the Malcolm Templeton Trophy, kindly offered to us by Trevor and Paula Templeton in remembrance of Malcolm. Paula will present the Trophy to the winner on behalf of the Templeton family.
We will also remember the passing of Philip Shields RIP at this event particularly as Philip competed in the Formula Libre/BOSS Ireland Championship. Philip is the current outright lap record holder in Kirkistown in his GP2 Dallara at 50.782secs in 2013.
In the meantime The Mondello Historic Festival will feature some BOSS Ireland drivers with Dan Daly and Sylvie Mullins doing demonstration runs during the weekend. Dan will be in his Pacific F1 car and Sylvie will be out in the 7Up livered Gould.
