Malcolm co-founded the horn section/funk band The Haggis Horns in 1998 with fellow Scots Atholl Ransome from Dunfermline and the late Jason Rae from Aberdeen. Starting with club residencies in Leeds, the band quickly gained a following and released their debut album, 'Hot Damn', in 2007. The Haggis Horns have since released five studio albums and continue to perform regularly on tours and pop sessions.
In addition to his work with The Haggis Horns, Malcolm launched his solo career with his debut album 'About Time', released on the band's own label, Haggis Records. His second solo album, 'Point Of No Return', received critical acclaim upon its release in 2023. Currently, Malcolm is in the studio working on his third solo album.
Originally from Inverness, Scotland, Malcolm's passion for music and dedication to his craft have made him a respected figure in the music industry, both as a solo artist and as a key member of The Haggis Horns.
Malcolm is joined by Stray's house band for this date - Steve Rodda on guitar, Si Potts on drums and Mat Short on electric bass.
