Originally from Hackney, London, Malcolm Joseph has been passionate about music since he was a youngster. In addition to being the official bass player for the world-famous singer Grace Jones for over 16 years, he is also an accomplished songwriter and producer. He co-founded the band 7th Heaven, who made it into the Top 10 in the dance charts in 1985, and Top 50 in the national charts. He has worked and performed with a multitude of legends in the UK since the 1980s, including Massive Attack, Neneh Cherry, Soul II Soul, Des’ree, Dave Stewart, Skye Edwards and more.
Malcolm Joseph and The Unquiet Peace were formed in mid 2023 after the release of Malcolm’s second album Ground.
