The Institute for History, Leiden University, in partnership with the Department of History, Ateneo de Manila University, will be hosting a workshop entitled Malasakit Sa May Sakit: Narratives of Health, Healing, and Human Values in Philippine History. The workshop will convene historians, scholars, students, and stakeholders to engage in an interactive discussion on the past, present, and future of the history of medicine in the Philippines. The workshop will be on 28 June 2024 (Friday). Please note that the workshop schedule will follow Philippine Standard Time: 8:00AM-4:00PM (PST).
The venue will be Faber Hall Rm. 101, Ateneo de Manila University. The workshop will be organized in a hybrid format (i.e. a Zoom option is available).
