Come along to our friendly Mala necklace workshop, where you can let your creativity flow and learn how to make a traditional 108 bead Mala necklace. Mala making is a simple, but beautiful, jewellery making technique to learn. And the best part is, no prior experience is required!
In the workshop you will be guided through making a Mala, and get an introduction to what Mala are, why they are made of 108 beads, and how Mala are used. Mala are traditionally a meditation aid, and the act of making a Mala can itself be a meditative/mindfulness practice. The beads you will be using to make your Malas will be natural stone and crystal beads. These beads have been chosen for their beauty, durability, and unique spiritual/energetic properties.
