Two-Part Mala-Making & Mala-Practice Workshop
Join Danina DiBattista, Vespertine Goods & Wearables for an evening of Mala-Making Workshop.
Experience a transformative two-part workshop where you'll create your own unique 108-bead mala, thoughtfully selecting a gemstone guru bead and tassel while learning traditional knotting techniques infused with personal intention.
This two-part workshop offers participants a creative outlet and a deeper connection to their yoga and meditation practices.
In the follow-up session, on 1/25 @ 11:00 am with Deena. She will guide you in using your mala for setting intentions, counting mantras, and enhancing your meditation practice through mindfulness and grounding exercises. This journey will empower you to deepen your connection to meditation and self-discovery with your beautifully crafted mala.

What to Expect:
Light Snacks & Beverages
Introduction (10 mins): Brief overview of the history & significance of malas in yoga and meditation practices.
Mala-Knotting Practice (10 mins): Learn the traditional technique of knotting between each bead, symbolizing intention and mindfulness.
Setting Intentions (5 mins): Participants set personal intentions for their mala.
Mala Assembly (1.5 hours): Assemble & hand-knot 108-bead mala.
Mala Finishing (30 mins): Incorporating chosen guru bead and tassel.
Closing (20 mins): time for sharing and adjustments, information on part two!
