🌙 Mala Beads Explained: A Simple Guide to Mantra & MeditationMala beads are a beautiful and supportive tool for meditation, intention, and inner focus—but many people own a mala without ever being shown how to truly work with it. This class is a gentle, beginner-friendly introduction designed to help you understand what mala beads are, why they are traditionally made with 108 beads, and how to use them in a way that feels natural, meaningful, and supportive.
In this workshop, you’ll learn how mala beads are used to support mantra and meditation by creating rhythm, repetition, and presence. Rather than focusing on doing meditation “correctly,” this class invites you to slow down, listen inward, and build a personal relationship with your mala as an ally for grounding, clarity, and self-awareness.
We’ll explore how repetition works with the nervous system and energy field, why mantra helps quiet the mind, and how mala beads can support a meditation practice that meets you exactly where you are—whether you’re brand new to meditation or looking to deepen an existing practice.
Together, we’ll practice a simple mala meditation and explore how to carry this tool into daily life as a source of calm, focus, and intention.
