About the speakers

Ng Kao Jing is an undergraduate at the National University of Singapore, majoring in Environmental Studies. In his free time, he leads intertidal guided walks, sharing his passion for marine life and environmental conservation with others. At school, Kao Jing serves as the Head of tWild, a wildlife conservation interest group where they organize nature walks, workshops, and programs in collaboration with local nature groups, as well as sharing sessions with conservationists, all aimed at educating fellow NUS students about wildlife conservation in Singapore. He also facilitates regular urban and beach cleanups, demonstrating his commitment to maintaining a cleaner and healthier environment. Additionally, Kao Jing is a participant in the Young Explorers Programme organized by OceanX, further expanding his knowledge and experience in marine conservation.

Ng Lee Kiang is a passionate marine educator and conservationist with over 10 years of experience in environmental education and conservation. With a degree in Biological Sciences and 15 years of diving experience as a dive master, she co-founded Young Nautilus, an organization that aims to promote environmental education and conservation. and has reached over 10,000 people annually, including schools, corporate groups, and families. Lee Kiang is also a recipient of the Conservation International 10 for Zero Award and has participated in various initiatives, including the Climate Youth Development Programme and COP28, where she shadowed negotiators on climate international platforms. As a lead member of the NYC Greenhacks youth panel, she collaborates with government agencies to co-create innovative environmental policies.
