Making the Most of the Summer Holidays

Join us for a friendly course where we will explore ways to make the most of the Summer holidays. Whether you're looking for fun activities for children and young people, or ideas for a relaxing break, this course has got you covered!

Starts: Thu July 04 2024

Time: 10:00 AM

Location: Exeter Community Centre, 17 St David's Hill, Exeter, EX4 3RG

Join us for this FREE course for adults 19+ where you'll discover a wide range of free or low cost activities and tips to keep everyone entertained over the school holidays. From days out, to picnic ideas and travel suggestions, we'll work together to plan affordable, fun holiday adventures.

This course is ideal for parents and caregivers.

We start at 10am and finish at 12:30pm. There will be a short break. Please feel free to bring your own refreshments, or hot drinks are available from the lovely Mulberry Tree Cafe on site.

You will be required to complete an Exeter College Registration Form at the first session.

Commitment: we ask that learners try to commit to the full 3-week course to enable everyone to get the most from the sessions.

Courses are popular and we run a waiting list on our Eventbrite courses. Please advise us before the course starts if you are no longer able to attend the course so we can offer your place to somebody else.

Next steps:

Take up a class via the Urban Learning Academy; get your friends together to plan days out; explore the library for more inspiration for activities and local destinations.
