ARE YOU READY TO BECOME A MOGUL?
Making the Mogul is a 6-day intensive program for high school students interested in the music and media industries. In this competition-style program, students will choose their own pathway...
? Artist/Producer/Engineer
? Music Business/Graphic Design
? Photography/Videography
...and work with a team to create a song, music video, business model, and marketing campaign.
STRUCTURE
8 - 10 AM Hands-On Learning Session ✍? ?
10 - 11 AM Mid-Day Lunch & Learn with Industry Guest Speaker (snacks provided)
11 - 1 PM Afternoon Team Work Session ??? ? ?
Over the course of the program, students will take a field trip(s) to a well-known recording studio and/or film studio, granting firsthand access to a true professional working environment.
WIN SCHOLARSHIPS, STUDIO EQUIPMENT, PROFESSIONAL EDITS & MORE
Final projects will be presented by each team of students and judged and scored by a panel of music industry professionals and other special guests.
Winners of the competition will be granted internship opportunities, a professionally mixed/mastered version of their team song, professionally edited music video, live performance opportunity, equipment donations, scholarship opportunities, and more.
