Abstract: Faced with the constant threat of crippling cyber-attacks, governments are making significant efforts to understand the threats and beef up defenses against them. An example is the work being done by the US Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), MITRE and others, which has resulted in the MITRE ATT&CK framework and the Secure Cloud Business Applications (SCuBA) Project; SCuBA is targeted to help U.S. Federal agencies improve their cybersecurity posture. In this presentation, I present a prototype I’ve developed that allows for automated alerts and reporting based on SCuBA data, showing how widely used enterprise business intelligence software can be used for functions from displaying simple trends and metrics to advanced machine learning for anomaly detection and prediction. Attendees will see examples of how artificial intelligence can be used and deployed on an enterprise level to lead to actionable insights.
