This is a Hands-on class!! Make your own pierogi.
Join me for a warm, hands‑on pierogi‑making class where we’ll explore one of Eastern Europe’s most beloved comfort foods. I’ll guide you step‑by‑step through making silky dough, shaping perfect pockets, and crafting classic fillings like potato‑cheddar, sauerkraut, and sweet cheese. Whether you’re brand‑new to pierogi making or carrying on a family tradition, you’ll learn approachable techniques, cultural stories behind the dish, and tips for getting that perfect tender bite.
I will also have some dill pickle soup for everyone to taste during class, and you can also purchase some if you would like.
After rolling them out you will be putting them in a pierogi dumpling maker to shape them you will each get a piping bag full of the potato filling to fill these little pillows of goodness. Your pierogi dumpling maker is included with the price of the class, it's yours to keep so you can make them for friends and family anytime. You will take your pierogi home to cook, you will receive a recipe for pierogi and also for dill pickle soup.
While your Pierogi is resting, I will grill up a pan of pierogies
the " Monica‘s way". After you’re finished making your pierogi, you will take them home to cook them.

Your workshop registration does not include admission to the Canterbury event itself. If you would like to stay and enjoy the rest of the village after your class, simply visit the front gate to purchase admission for the day.
