My Name is Christopher Scipio and I am the most experienced practitioner in North America in the holistic treatment of herpes. For over two decades, I’ve been pioneering the natural treatment of herpes. My book “Making Peace with Herpes” was first published in 2006 (now in its fourth update), is the definitive guide to treating herpes naturally.
There is a false (sex-negative) cultural narrative that has demonized this simple viral skin infection to make people believe they are lepers. There are also way too many fake gimmicks and snake oil peddlers hyping herpes cures that don’t actually work and may also be dangerous. The mainstream approach to dealing with herpes is pro-pharma and does not take lifestyle or diet into consideration at all. Not to mention the puritanical philosophy that still pervades our collective subconscious when it comes to empowered sexuality.
You are not alone. Six out of every ten people have herpes. I invite you to move past guilt, shame and anger towards peace and healing.
When I learned how to take control of my herpes and embrace holistic health, I felt empowered, hopeful, and unashamed. Now I feel like getting herpes was actually a positive turn in my life- motivating me to take better care of my health and to practice safer sex. It also gave me a vocation that I love. I love speaking to people and giving them the encouragement, support, and advice they need to control their herpes.
When I was first infected with herpes, I had no one to talk to about it. I got terrible advice and misinformation from the internet that damaged me and wasted my money. Often, having the right advice and an effective and empowering system to follow can make all the difference in the world. I am very passionate about helping others with herpes. Since first opening my clinic in 2003; I have coached thousands of people on stopping outbreaks, rejecting the stigma, having a happy, safer sex life and having a safe, natural pregnancy and natural childbirth.
