About this Event
During this long-form workshop, participants with experience throwing on the wheel will practice perfecting the mug. The instructor will demonstrate both straight and rounded mug forms, how to create/attach handles, adding texture/surface interest, and different glaze techniques. The class will follow a schedule of make-trim-glaze.
Participants may come away with 4 - 6 successfully thrown mugs. Mug size is based on 2 lbs. each. Bring your tools; clay is included. Seats will fill fast!
**This is not a beginner workshop. Participants must know how to consistently center and pull a 4” cylinder. This is a wheel-throwing workshop. No hand-building.**
