Join award winning author and illustrator Sean E Avery for a comic making workshop inspired by his new graphic novel series Friendly Bee and Friends. In this interactive workshop, kids will be led through the process of making their very own mini comics. They will learn about character development, story structure and pacing, comic lettering and panelling, and tips for self-publishing.
This workshop is best suited for children 7-10 and their grown-ups. Please note that all children aged must be accompanied by a guardian. Each ticket includes entry for one child and their guardian. You will be emailed with details about where to go for your workshop prior to the day.
Scribblers Family FestivalThis workshop is presented through the Scribblers Family Festival The Scribblers Family Festival is a joyous two-day festival, bringing together some of the best children’s and YA creatives from Australia and beyond. It’s packed with storytelling, art, workshops, and creativity galore.
This year the Family Weekend will be held on Saturday the 28th and Sunday the 29th of October in the Cathedral Square Precinct.
